I did, however, have a look at the post on the PayPal forum given by (many thanks, douglas) and clicking on the link within that took me to, which gave me a login screen headed 'Turn off One Touch across all your devices'. I have tried the suggestions given above (thank you, but like you I have neither a 'Stay logged in for faster purchases' option in PayPal settings nor a 'Saved checkout payments methods' tab anywhere in my eBay account details. ![]() You are not alone, brooke-hamster: I recently had the same experience and found it more than a little concerning, as I really didn't like the idea that if my eBay account was hacked (again) my PayPal account could be exposed.Īnywhen, I'd been poking around and trying to find out what had changed and why I was suddenly able to complete a purchase by being automatically logged in to PayPal without using my password (as it has always been - I have never linked my eBay and PayPal accounts for security reasons) and hadn't really got anywhere when I read your post.
